McLane to serve Town & Country through '08

McLane Co Inc and Town & Country Food Stores Inc have entered into a distribution service agreement effective through 2008.
Town & Country is a convenience retailer with operations covering a 107,000-square-mile area of Texas and New Mexico. It serves more than 1.1 million customers weekly at more than 144 convenience stores. The firm also operates 15 travel stops, 23 Subway locations, and several Godfather Pizza locations. An employee-owned company, San Angelo TX-based Town & Country has 1,800-plus workers.
Temple TX-based McLane provides distribution services throughout the United States, delivering food and non-food products to more than 50,000 customer locations.
