Arby’s beefs up
with McLane Co

McLane Foodservice, a division of McLane Company Inc, announced that Arby’s Restaurant Group Inc has expanded its network with McLane to include food distribution services in Texas and surrounding states. McLane’s Arlington TX distribution center began servicing 190 restaurants in the Texas market November 2, 2009.
Arby’s will be provided with supply chain services, including logistics, procurement, and inventory management systems. McLane currently provides services to 285 units in the western United States through its Phoenix AZ, Tracy CA, and Riverside CA distribution centers.

With 38 distribution centers and one of the nation’s largest private fleets, the company handles products from thousands of suppliers to more than 60,000 locations. Every year, McLane delivers more than 10 billion pounds of merchandise to every state and county in the United States.
