FreshDirect expands into Brooklyn NY

Online grocer FreshDirect plans to expand its delivery services to reach Brooklyn NY neighborhoods including Bedford Stuyvesant (“Bed Stuy”), Crown Heights, and Red Hook. The new delivery areas are now open for delivery service of fresh produce, groceries, and prepared food.
FreshDirect already operates throughout Manhattan and Queens as well as select areas in Staten Island, Westchester, Nassau County, and New Jersey. The Internet delivery service features online amenities such as “Shopping Lists” and “One-Click Recipes.”
In support of FreshDirect's expansion, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz was on hand to welcome a delivery April 17 in the Bed Stuy neighborhood.
