Sysco subsidiary wins DOD contract

The United States Department of Defense (DOD) has awarded Sysco Food Services of Louisville (KY), a subsidiary of Houston TX-based foodservice distributor Sysco Corp, a contract valued at $29.4 million. This contract will be in effect through October 2009.
Sysco Food Services of Louisville will distribute food and beverage products to US Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and other Defense Department clients in Kentucky and surrounding areas.
