Lynden acquires seafood logistics company

Lynden International has acquired the Anchorage AK division of seafood logistics company Movers Inc. Together, the companies will provide a broad spectrum of services for the Alaska seafood industry. Lynden gains the expertise of Movers' niche service in the seafood market while Movers customers benefit from Lynden's worldwide network of locations. The Seattle WA office of Movers will continue to operate under current ownership, and the company name will be retained in Anchorage after the acquisition.
The Anchorage facility is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and provides refrigeration and logistics services for a variety of seafood industry companies. Truck brokering service is also available for fresh and frozen seafood from Anchorage to points in the lower 48.
