PFG winds up 2007
with positive fiscal tally

Performance Food Group Company (PFG) announced results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended Dec. 29, 2007.
The food distributor’s consolidated net sales in the fourth quarter were approximately $1.6 billion, an increase of 10.3% compared with the prior year’s fourth quarter.
Net earnings from continuing operations in the fourth quarter amounted to about $15.1 million.
For the full year 2007, consolidated net sales totaled roughly $6.3 billion, a gain of 8.2% from the prior year period.
Net earnings from continuing operations for the full year rose 19.2% to approximately $51.1 million, versus about $42.9 million a year ago.
