Aug 30, 2004 11:38 AM, from staff and wire reports

ConAgra Foods has issued a voluntary recall of more than 85,000 pounds of its Banquet frozen chicken breast strips because they may contain pieces of metal.

Both ConAgra and the United States Department of Agriculture have gotten complaints from consumers, though no injuries have been reported.

This chicken was packaged July 20–21 and July 27, 2004, and was distributed to retail stores nationally.

All packages have the code P-107.
