RedPrairie to revamp AWG's supply chain

Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG) has selected RedPrairie Corp’s supply chain systems to optimize its operations across its supply chain distribution network.

AWG’s seven distribution centers deliver to 2,246 retail outlets, including non-member customers of Valu Merchandisers Co. The company will deploy RedPrairie’s DLx Warehouse, DLx Transportation, DLx Labor, and various enterprise systems. These include event management, scorecard, visibility, slotting, time and attendance, modeling, and QA control.

RedPrairie systems cover warehouse, transportation, workforce performance, and event management; slotting; visibility; performance measurement; and RFID for EPC/ISO compliance and mobile resource management.
