ALK Technologies Inc, a provider of geologistics and navigation software, has formed a new group, Enterprise Solutions, comprised of its PC*MILER, CoPilot Truck, and CoPilot Live Professional product lines plus supporting map data, software tools, and professional services.

ALK’s Enterprise Solutions Group is responsible for sales, business development, marketing, product management, and support for all products and services sold worldwide to transportation and logistics companies. The team is dedicated to growing ALK’s global footprint by delivering mapping, routing, navigation and other geologistics systems and serving the transportation, logistics, and mobile enterprise markets.

Leading the Enterprise Solutions Group is Michael Kornhauser, senior vice-president, who reports directly to Barry J Glick, chief executive officer of ALK. Executives also appointed to the new team are Dan Popkin, vice-president–business development, worldwide; Dan Titus, vice-president–business development, North America; and Craig Fiander, vice-president–marketing, North America. Chris Quin and Klaus Kremer lead business development and marketing for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa markets.

ALK also has simultaneously formed a Consumer Products Group responsible for the CoPilot Live GPS navigation apps available for iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile platforms. David Quin will lead this group from ALK’s London office.

In conjunction with the reorganization, ALK has begun to roll out new corporate branding including a logo building on ALK’s 30 years of industry innovation and its commitment to the future. ALK’s website, www.alk.com, now displays the new logo, and redesign of all corporate materials is underway.
