Green Reefers awards CapRock contract

CapRock continues to penetrate the commercial maritime market with its new broadband VSAT service, SeaAccess Communications, by adding Green Reefers to the list of recent maritime contracts won. The long-term agreement offers Green Reefers, a logistics service provider for chilled and frozen products, increased vessel operational efficiency and enhanced crew morale services through always-on “business-class” broadband communications.
The SeaAccess deployment will provide the specialized ships with corporate networking, Internet access, crew calling systems, and e-mail services. By connecting the vessels directly into the corporate network, vessels can access and exchange corporate data in real-time, allowing them to operate as offices at sea. All equipment, service and support will be managed by CapRock, enabling Green Reefers to focus on its business and customers rather than its communications.
CapRock's Aberdeen facility, one of the company's 10 international support centers, will provide most of the installations, and its 24/7 help desk will be provided.
