DQ Platinum service aids CSA compliance

With continued focus on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) initiative, J J Keller & Associates Inc has launched a comprehensive outsource service for identifying and correcting driver-based deficiencies.
The new DQ Platinum service demonstrates a company’s commitment to proactive safety management by incorporating drivers’ CSA performance into the ongoing qualification process.
DQ Platinum uses daily monitoring of drivers’ Department of Transportation roadside inspections, along with management of driver qualification documentation, to identify driver compliance deficiencies before they become liabilities. The service flags critical compliance gaps often overlooked or unknown, such as unidentified or improperly qualified drivers. In addition, the service detects inaccurate or questionable roadside inspection data and takes the steps necessary to get it removed from the carrier’s DOT number.
The DQ Platinum service includes daily monitoring and notification of inspected drivers, monthly CSA reports, receipt and retention of roadside inspection reports, DataQ administration and tracking, and CSA intervention support. The service, while closely tied to driver qualification and fitness, provides companies with exposure and reporting across all of the CSA Behavioral Analysis and Safety Improvement Categories (BASICs)—allowing them to make meaningful improvements in all areas of their safety programs.
