GCT signs contract with Lawson Software

GCT Global Container Terminals Inc has licensed the Lawson S3 Enterprise Performance Management and Enterprise Financial Management suites. The company selected Lawson Software systems to help consolidate current business systems and provide operational insight and analysis of financial data. Lawson Professional Services will provide implementation services for the project.
Four marine container terminals in North America comprise GCT. They include New York Container Terminal, Staten Island NY; Global Terminal and Container Systems LLC, Bayonne NJ; and TSI Terminal Systems Inc's Deltaport and Vanterm facilities in Delta and Vancouver, British Columbia.
Lawson was selected for its ability to create a single access point for entering and retrieving consolidated financial data. The Lawson Enterprise Performance Management Suite will support the company's need for organization-wide business intelligence with reporting and analysis through role-based dashboards.
