Hardcat program helps firms save money

Mar 1, 2009 12:00 PM

Hardcat announces the development of a specific program to help medium to large logistics organizations better understand their assets and save money.

The Hardcat Asset Lifecycle Program is an enterprise-wide asset management system that allows assets — from office equipment, to company vehicles and machinery — to be managed and better utilized throughout the lifecycle process.

This program employs a configurable web-based asset tracking system to deliver cost savings by accurately locating and redeploying existing assets where they are needed most, thus limiting the need to buy or produce new ones.

The program also reduces labor costs, improves profits, and increases employee and customer satisfaction by ensuring that equipment is readily available and that products arrive at the right location, at the right time, and in the right condition.
