Psion, AeroScout establish partnership

Psion Teklogix and AeroScout Inc. announced a partnership to develop automated real-time asset management systems. Integrating AeroScout's Wi-Fi-based Active RFID tags and MobileView software with Psion Teklogix' rugged mobile computers, the companies offer accurate and scalable automated inventory tracking and yard management systems.
Through their partnership, Psion Teklogix and AeroScout offer real-time asset management systems that deliver accurate location and status of mobile assets and equipment. By integrating AeroScout's visibility capabilities with its mobile devices, Psion Teklogix delivers improved automation and operational efficiency to customers in a variety of industries and environments, both indoors and outdoors. The two companies have already successfully installed their first joint customer, at a logistics site for a major automotive manufacturer.
