Vertical Alliance Group (VAG) announced that Southern Refrigerated Transport Inc (SRT) has received the Infinit-i Award, given to VAG clients that successfully meet the safety and training requirements set forth under its Infinit-i Safety & Training Solution. SRT’s customized Safety Training Portal can be found at http://srt.vagst.com.
“SRT has proven they are committed to achieving its mission of reducing commercial motor vehicle crashes, fatalities, and injuries. At the same time, they have successfully utilized Infinit-i to substantially lower their operating ratio and increase revenue,” according to Jay Wommack, president and chief executive officer of VAG.
With nearly 150,000 users of the Infinit-i Training Program (www.infinit-i.net), customers must demonstrate that their drivers and employees have reviewed specific training content on the web-based platform and successfully completed computer-based testing on the respective material. After thorough review by VAG’s training consultants, customers are then considered for the Infinit-i Award.
“We are very pleased to be recognized for our continuous effort for making safety a key part of our company’s culture. SRT is extremely proud that safety is our reputation, not just a trend. The Infinit-i Solution has allowed us to impact behavioral change, thus ensuring our safety and training efforts are engrained in every one of our employees” said Tony Smith, president of SRT.
