Bel/Kaukauna selects SPS services

Jan 1, 2005 12:00 PM, [Compiled by Gary Macklin • gmacklin@primediabusiness.com]

Bel/Kaukauna USA, a cheese products supplier, has selected SPS Commerce's hosted electronic data interchange (EDI) services.

As a hosted service, SPS eliminates the time and expense of implementing an in-house EDI system and enables suppliers to comply with customers' requirements more rapidly, while maintaining focus on marketing and production of their products. Bel/Kaukauna will use SPS services to enable its staff to communicate order, inventory and shipping information using EDI with 42 trading partners in the grocery industry. These include Albertson's, Associated Wholesaler, Costco, Giant Eagle, Kroger, Safeway, Sam's Club, Wal-Mart, and Winn-Dixie. This information will also be integrated directly into Bel/Kau-kauna's internal accounting and inventory systems.
