Company helps truckers adhere to HOS

To help businesses nationwide train drivers on the new hours of service rule changes, MANCOMM has revised and expanded its DVD, Commercial Motor Vehicle Operator Instruction Series: Hours of Service. The 24-minute presentation is part of its complete range of Commercial Motor Vehicle Operation Instruction Series DVDs, which also includes Pre-Trip Inspection, General or Core Knowledge, Combination: Tractor and Trailer, Air Brakes, and Tankers. During the transitional period, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration will monitor carriers for egregious violations of the new HOS rule and pursue enforcement action when necessary. Egregious violations are those showing a clear disregard for safety by the motor carrier or operator.
