Knight Transportation selects FleetView 3

Knight Transportation has purchased FleetView 3, Terion's patented Cargo Sensor, and Tractor ID for its entire fleet of trailers and tractors. FleetView 3 will enable Knight to increase trailer utilization, reduce trailer-to-tractor ratio, improve cargo security, reduce fuel expense, and increase driver satisfaction. FleetView 3 will be fully integrated into Knight's AS/400 dispatch and operations software to create a seamless working environment for its management personnel.
“Knight tested several trailer tracking products for over a year before selecting Terion,” said Kevin Knight, chairman and chief executive officer of Knight Transportation. “We determined that Terion's FleetView 3 product is significantly ahead of its competition as it offers a more accurate cargo sensor that measures the full length of the trailer, motion sensor intelligence resident in the unit, as well as the ability to enhance the security of our customers cargo.”
