TMW acquires Maddocks Systems Inc

TMW Systems Inc has acquired Canadian trucking software provider Maddocks Systems Inc; terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
With this addition, TMW will now employ more than 250 professionals, in offices throughout North America. Both organizations have experienced double digit growth in revenues and earnings since 2002.
TMW will continue to develop, evolve, and support both companies' product offerings including TMWSuite Windows-based system, TL2000 for the IBM iSeries, and Maddocks TruckMateTM for Windows. Current customers will be able to leverage a broad set of existing complementary products developed by both TMW and Maddocks.
Randall Burrell, Maddocks chief operating officer, has been appointed general manager — TMW Canada. Bob Maddocks, president and chief executive officer of Maddocks, is taking on a strategic role for TMW as senior vice-president of business development. All Maddocks management and staff have become employees of TMW.
