Meritor WABCO Vehicle Control Systems has released its Toolbox Software Version 7.01, offering enhanced diagnostic capabilities for Meritor WABCO electronic products.

Version 7.0 revisions include diagnostic capabilities for two more functions: electronic stability control diagnostics for tractor ABS and electronically controlled air suspensions (ECAS) for buses. Also incorporated in this update are several new features for the hydraulic power brake (HPB) diagnostics program. A user's manual and documentation on adaptive devices and their functionality with Toolbox are included.

The software is a PC-based diagnostics program that provides technicians service information including:

• A display of both constant and changing information for the system under test (eg, ECU number and RPMs, respectively).

• A display of both active and stored system faults, as well as the appropriate repair instructions.

• Activation of system components to verify system integrity, proper component operation, and installation wiring.
