Users' Conference supplies power to do more

Hundreds of trucking professionals gathered in Birmingham AL to participate in McLeod Software's 16th annual Users' Conference, held Sept 20-23, 2006, at The Wynfrey Hotel. With “Power to Do More!” as the theme, the event attracted 35% more attendees than 2005's event.
The conference kicked off with a keynote address by Bill Graves, president of the American Trucking Associations (ATA), who focused on the future and growth of trucking.
Analysts, thought-leaders, and industry experts also shared insights and strategies, including:
George Edwards, consultant to logistics and transportation services companies; Robert Everitt, Trucking Market Segment Specialization coordinator (Midwest District) for the Internal Revenue Service; Martin Labbe, former director of transportation and logistics service for Data Resources Inc; and Stephen Graham, independent contractor with United Statets Customs and Border Protection on the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Support Team.
