Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC, a North American manufacturer of commercial vehicle braking systems and safety technologies, has selected Datalliance, the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) system from Enterprise Data Management (EDM).

Datalliance, an Internet-based e-commerce service, will be used to further Bendix's commitment to strong relations with its customers. With an implementation plan in place for early 2003, the company plans to use VMI to collaborate electronically with its customers daily, sharing inventory demand and order fulfillment information.
