Raising the financial awareness and skills of fleet managers will be the focus of efleetmgmt inc's 2003 Financial Strategies for Today's Fleet Operations Seminar, set for April 2-4 in Nashville TN.

Workshops will provide hands-on information on the role finance plays in achieving fleet success. Speakers will discuss ways to measure and improve financial performance and communicating that performance with senior management.

Topics will include strategies for minimizing fleet costs and maximizing revenue, implementing benchmarking results to improve fleet efficiency and reduce operating costs, and using technology to measure and improve financial performance. Other workshops will explore budgeting and supply chain management techniques.

Seminar speakers will include Tony Vercillo, president and chief executive officer of International Fleet Management Consultants; Joe B Hanna, PhD, associate professor of logistics at Auburn University; and R Patrick White, former traffic and transportation manager of Coca Cola USA and a principal at WhiteTrans Solutions Inc.
