Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is continuing its national leadership in the fight against counterfeiting through its inclusion in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Intellectual Property Protection and Enforcement Manual. Bendix is the only company from the automotive industry to be included in the manual.

The manual, developed by the U.S. Chamber's Global Intellectual Property Center, provides business owners with strategies to fight counterfeiting and piracy. The manual identifies assets and outlines procedures to help business owners from falling victim to counterfeiting and piracy.

The brand protection manual is divided into two sections: the first provides basic background information on intellectual property and laws and regulations that protect and enforce intellectual property assets; the second section, in which Bendix is included, provides case studies that can be used as part of the overall anti-counterfeiting business strategy.
