Blue Bell Creameries will deploy ClearOrbit's Gemini mobile software system for Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) to automate data collection and improve the company's production lot control and traceability. Brenham TX-based ice cream producer Blue Bell selected ClearOrbit to improve the accuracy, timeliness, visibility, and control of data throughout its high-volume production and distribution centers across the Southeast.

With Gemini for OPM, Blue Bell employees will now use mobile RF scanners to record key transactions, such as receiving, inventory movements and transfers, adjustments, batch inputs/outputs and returns, directly on the shop floor. By capturing data from more than 2,000 SKUs in real time at the point-of-origin, Gemini will increase data quality and visibility throughout the company's multiple facilities.
