Bongards' purchases cheese plant

Bongards' Creameries and Land O' Lakes Inc have announced the purchase by Bongards' of the Land O' Lakes cheese manufacturing facility in Perham MN. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
”The sale reflects significant effort on the part of Land O' Lakes to find a buyer for the Perham facility,” Fernando Palacios, vice-president — operations and supply chain, dairy foods for Land O' Lakes. “We are pleased to have found a buyer in Bongards' Creameries, which will keep this business operating in the community.”
