Rolled edge now standard on Guard Locks

Feb 1, 2004 12:00 PM

TydenBrammall has introduced a rolled edge to the metal straps used on its Guard Lock cargo security seals. This product upgrade has become standard on all Guard Locks.

Because of the benefits associated with the rolled edge, the metal strap seal will now be called the Guard Lock RE (rolled edge), replacing and making obsolete the original Guard Lock.

The Guard Lock RE also comes with a tighter fit, making it even more effective against tampering.Equipped with a hook-lock mechanism, the Guard Lock RE has a locking strength of 100 pounds. For corrosion resistance in boxcar, container, and delivery truck applications, the Guard Lock RE is provided with a galvanized finish. Embossed serial numbering comes standard, but ink-jet bar coding is also offered.
