TCA, Delmar offer fleet manager training kit

The Truckload Carriers Association and Delmar Learning have introduced the Daily Dispatch Challenge (DDC) and the Dispatcher Training Guide, a fleet manager training product.
DDC is a multimedia training CD-ROM that works like a game. It is designed as a management and retention tool. The Dispatcher Training Guide workbook accompanies DDC, though they are stand-alone products.
Delmar said the product helps foster interpersonal communication, collaborative, and decisionmaking skills and the ability to handle stress and resolve conflicts by presenting real-life issues and scenarios that fleet managers are likely to face.
