Indiana town prepares to welcome Atlas

Toronto, Canada-based Atlas Cold Storage plans to open a new refrigeration business in Pendleton IN. Scheduled to open in April 2006, this warehouse will be owned by First Development Industrial Servicers, which will have a long-term lease with Atlas.
This plant will store ice cream in bins, though other Atlas locations offer refrigerated storage and blast freezing for meat.
The second-largest cold storage company in North America, Atlas has 4,500 employees and 56 locations in the United States and Canada.
