ServiceCraft Logistics has been named as third-party logistics (3PL) provider to Chiquita Brands LLC, Processed Fruit Ingredients Division.

The 3PL will provide warehousing, order fulfillment, and transportation services for Chiquita’s banana puree product, which is imported for domestic distribution to the industrial and foodservice sector. As soon as the product arrives at ServiceCraft’s Southern California facility, inventory and order detail are available to Chiquita via the Internet using ServiceCraft’s customer extranet.

ServiceCraft provides integrated logistics and specialized value-added services including truck, rail, and intermodal transportation management services, warehousing, order fulfillment, web-based information management. The company operates 5 million square feet of AIB foodgrade facilities in the West, Southwest, and eastern United States.
