Van's is sold to Healthy Food Holdings

KCA Partners Ltd has successfully completed the sale of Van’s International Foods Inc to Healthy Food Holdings, a portfolio company of private equity firm Catterton Partners. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Van’s, a Vernon CA company best known for its natural and organic frozen waffles, was acquired by KCA and veteran food industry executive James L Kelly in January 2000. Van’s has grown since 2000 due to expanded retail distribution and new product introductions. The company also markets all-natural textured soy meat analog products under the Veat brand name.
