Marten Transport takes the intermodal route

Mondovi WI-based refrigerated carrier Marten Transport is now offering intermodal services. Through its intermodal division, the firm will supply more logistics options and more effective, flexible transportation services.
The company has named Matt MacPherson to head the new venture as director of intermodal and logistic services. With 22-plus years of transportation industry experience, he will be in charge of generating Marten’s truck-to-rail transport opportunities, along with developing logistics and brokerage operations.
MacPherson served as senior manager of supply chain logistics at McCain Foods USA before joining Marten.
