OCS Logistics hooks up with RedPrairie

Orefield Cold Storage (OCS Logistics), a third-party logistics provider, will implement RedPrairie DLx Warehouse Management Solution (WMS) and DLx Labor for Workforce Performance Management to optimize distribution operations.
With 12.8 million cubic feet of storage area, OCS Logistics provides climate-controlled and dry product handling services. It plans to open a 100,000-square-foot expansion of its Allentown PA distribution center by the end of 2005. The company needed more advanced warehouse management capabilities to meet customer demands, provide visibility into inventory, and control costs.
