Coastal Sunbelt, ECFC sold to partnership

Coastal Sunbelt Produce Co and East Coast Fresh Cuts Inc (ECFC) have been acquired by MCG Capital Corp and the companies’ management team.
Headquartered in Savage MD, Coastal Sunbelt Produce and ECFC are distributors and processors of fresh produce and perishables in the Mid-Atlantic region, serving restaurant chains, independents, hotels, institutions, and foodservice establishments.
As part of the transaction, Coastal Sunbelt and ECFC co-founders Paul Lebling and Phil Muth will retain a significant ownership interest in both Coastal Sunbelt Produce and ECFC. They also will serve as advisors for the two companies.
