Prime to buy 3,000 reefer vans from Wabash

Wabash National Corp has confirmed a three-year purchase agreement to provide 3,000 refrigerated vans for Springfield MO-based refrigerated carrier Prime Inc.
Per the agreement, which includes an option to expand the total number of units to 5,000 over the next six years, Prime will purchase Wabash National's ArcticLite trailers. Trailer production is expected to begin in September 2005.
Based in Lafayette IN, Wabash National designs, manufactures, and markets standard and custom truck trailers under the Wabash brand name.
