Ralcorp Holdings Inc has completed the purchase of Parco Foods LLC, a Chicago IL-based manufacturer of cookies and frozen cookie dough for sale mainly at in-store bakeries. Parco Foods, which operates a baking facility in Blue Island IL near Chicago and employs about 300 people, had net sales of approximately $50 million for the year ended Dec 25, 2005. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Parco will be added to Ralcorp’s Frozen Bakery Products segment and will enhance Ralcorp’s in-store bakery cookie offerings.

Based in St Louis MO, Ralcorp produces a variety of foods including frozen bakery products sold to restaurants and other foodservice customers.
