Pennsylvania Gov Edward G Rendell joined in celebrating the opening of Reinhart FoodService Inc's new 275,000-square-foot distribution center in Coal Township PA, which will eventually create 109 new jobs and retain 314 positions.

In February 2004, Rendell committed $2 million to help Reinhart construct its new facility in the Coal Township Industrial Park. The financing package, arranged by the Governor's Action Team, included a $100,000 opportunity grant, $150,000 in job training assistance, a $1.25 million Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority loan, and a $500,000 loan through the Machinery and Equipment Loan Fund.
