May 19, 2004 12:27 PM, from staff and wire reports

Roundy's Inc, a food wholesaler retailer and wholesaler, is upgrading its Kronos systems to centralize and optimize deployment and tracking of its 17,000 retail operations and distribution center employees. Kronos' time, labor, and scheduling systems will help Roundy's reduce labor costs, boost store productivity, and improve customer satisfaction at the chain’s stores.

Founded in 1872, Roundy's operates 120 retail grocery stores under the Pick ’n Save, Copps, and Rainbow Foods banners. From seven distribution centers, Roundy's supplies more than 800 retail grocery store locations.
