Utility Trailer will expand plant in Virginia

Utility Trailer Mfg Co, the City of Industry CA-based manufacturer of refrigerated vans and Tautliner curtainside trailers, is expanding its Smyth County facility in Virginia.
Employing more than 700 people, this Smyth County plant in the Mountain Empire Industrial Park has been in operation since 1989. Through an $11.5 million investment, the company will increase its production capability to keep up with demand for its 3000R refrigerated trailers.
