Bioterrorism on the table at NCSC meeting

The National Cargo Security Council (NCSC) will hold its 2004 Roundtable I: Food/Bioterrorism at the Holiday Inn on Capitol Hill in Washington DC. Set for February 11Ð12, the roundtable discussion will be devoted to consumables supply chain topics, including bioterrorism, theft, product tampering, money laundering, and diversion fraud. An indepth study of cargo crime in the food chain, including bioterrorism regulations, will be explained.Ten security professionals from government, food associations, and retailers will present 12 food chain security issues, including an interactive discussion on raising the integrity of the food supply chain.
