CoolBrands serves some sweet fiscal results

CoolBrands International Inc, Canadian-based manufacturer and distributor of frozen desserts, announced its operating results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended Aug 31, 2003.Revenues for the quarter rose by 78% to $154,014,000 from $86,365,000 for the same quarter a year ago. Net earnings for the quarter increased by 63% to $14,836,000 compared with net earnings of $9,101,000 for the same quarter a year earlier.
For fiscal 2003, revenues climbed 47% to $357,273,000 versus $242,222,000 for fiscal 2002. Net earnings for fiscal 2003 advanced 51% to $31,704,000 compared with net earnings of $20,984,000 for fiscal 2002.
