Hirsch exits TCA over 'difference of opinion'

Oct 21, 2003 12:00 PM, from staff and wire reports

Robert Hirsch has stepped down as president of the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA).

According to TCA chairman Clifton Parker, the decision for Hirsch to leave was mutual.

Parker cited "a difference of opinion on managerial approach" as the reason to separate.

TCA spokesman Thakur Persaud said Hirsch would discuss the group's future October 23.
