KLLM issuing drivers longevity bonuses

May 15, 2003 12:00 PM, from staff and wire reports

KLLM Transport Services Inc said it is making a $ 10,000 longevity bonus payout for drivers who worked for the Jackson MS-based refrigerated carrier for five years and drove at least 110,000 miles per year.

Kirk Blankenship, director of recruiting, said 148 company drivers will receive the bonus in September, and about 30 more will receive it before the end of the year.

Blankenship said the first group of 45 owner-operators will receive their longevity incentive checks in April 2004.
