McLane Company Opens Warehouse in New Hampshire

The McLane Company Inc has opened and begun distribution services from its newest warehouse in New Hampshire. McLane Company is a subsidiary of Wal-Mart.The 240,000 square foot distribution center will undergo further improvements, with an additional 4,950 square feet of space, more dock doors, and expansion of the parking lot. It will operate under the name McLane Northeast-Concord and will serve convenience stores and other food retail establishments in New England. McLane Northeast-Concord employs more than 280 people, and is expected to have first year sales of approximately $400 million.
McLane now operates 18 grocery divisions supplying convenience stores in every state and county in the United States. McLane also operates three subsidiaries -- McLane Foodservice Inc, with 17 distribution centers for fast food restaurants; Merit Distribution Services Inc, a truckload carrier; and Professional Datasolutions Inc, a software development company in Texas.
McLane distribution centers are located in Alabama, Arizona, California (2), Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Texas (2), Virginia, and Washington. Merit operates from terminals in Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, South Carolina, Texas, and Utah. McLane Foodservice distribution centers are located in Arizona, California (2), Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas (2), Oregon, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
