O&S Trucking purchases Mo-Cal Express

Springfield MO-based O&S Trucking Inc has purchased the refrigerated carrier Mo-Cal Express, also located in the Springfield area. The price of the acquisition remains undisclosed.O&S has assumed responsibility for Mo-CalÕs customer base and acquired all its equipment, warranties, and other assets. The company plans to employ all of Mo-CalÕs current qualified drivers.
Founded in 1991, Mo-Cal is a privately held carrier that has generated about $3.7 million in revenue to date in 2003. As part of this transaction, O&S will not purchase Mo-CalÕs real estate holdings and plans to transfer the carrierÕs 20 trucks to the O&S terminal in Springfield.
O&S operates 325 trucks in the United States and Canada.
