Prime Inc floral division comes into bloom

Prime Inc, the Springfield MO-based refrigerated carrier, is forming a new company, Prime Floral LLC. This company will be a full-service division under Prime Inc that will offer transportation, consolidation, and cross-docking service to the floral industry.
With more than 1,700 trucks and 2,500 refrigerated trailers in Prime's refrigerated division, Prime Floral can handle the needs of growers, shippers, and wholesalers throughout the floral industry.
To lead this venture, Prime Floral has assembled a professional staff with more than 100 combined years of expertise in the floral industry, which includes the distribution of fresh cut flowers, bulbs, greens, and plants. The division will have service centers in Miami FL, Portland OR, and Ventura CA.
