Simon Transportation Names New Officers

Simon Transportation Services has announced the appointment of Robert T. Goates as Vice President-Finance, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer, and Mark E. Wilkey as Vice President-Legal, Secretary, and General Counsel. Goates has 14 years of audit experience with Arthur Andersen spanning 1986 to 2000 and more recently served as CFO for a Salt Lake City software company. Wilkey, 44, was an attorney/shareholder with the Salt Lake City law firm, Parr, Waddoups, Brown, Gee & Loveless for 12 years, and, most recently, was associated with the Las Vegas law firm, Jones, Vargas.
