Trailmobile Surrenders Liberal Trailer Plant

Trailmobile Trailer has surrendered possession and turned its refrigerated trailer manufacturing plant over to the city of Liberal KS. This action follows default on the building lease. The city is looking for a tenant, but says that manufacturing refrigerated trailers would be the best use of the facility. The plant cost $22 million in 1999 and includes a 235,000 sq ft building on 50 acres. State and local incentives are available for a new tenant.
