True-Way gets in the saddle with PonyExpress
Sep 17, 2003 12:00 PM, from staff and wire reportsPonyExpress USA Inc has signed a transportation and trademark licensing agreement with True-Way Logistics Corp to provide long-haul/full-trailer-load services.
Headquartered in Boca Raton FL, PonyExpress offers services that include LTL freight and temperature-sensitive cargo transport. True-Way is a full-trailer-load carrier engaged in ground transportation throughout the United States.
The trademark agreement calls for True-Way to license the ÒPonyExpress FreightÓ trademark, with the PonyExpress Freight logo prominently displayed on the entire True-Way fleet. The transportation agreement calls for PonyExpress to provide sales, administrative, and customer services to True-WayÕs present customers and also enables PonyExpress to provide long-haul/full-trailer-load services to its customers.
ÒWith the use of the PonyExpress brand, True-Way will gain greater acceptance,Ó said Ernani Verlangieri, president and chief executive officer for True-Way.
