Truckers: Florida needs you to haul supplies

Florida's State Emergency Operations Center in Tallahassee seeks truckers nationwide to volunteer to transport supplies to hurricane-ravaged Florida.
There is a pressing need for people to volunteer their trucks or time because people from around the nation are donating supplies and not enough rigs are available to transport the loads, according to Bridget Boudreau, a volunteer in the donations matching division of the Volunteer Florida program. Because of this, the program has had to turn away some of the much-needed supplies.
